Who we are
This policy explains how Optilick ("we", "us") handles personal information collected through optilick.com. If you have any questions, email us at hello@optilick.com.
Information we collect
- When you place an order: your name, email, phone number (optional), shipping address, the items you ordered and any note you add.
- When you join our email list: your email address and where you signed up.
- When you contact us: your name, email, order number (if you share it) and your message.
- Payment details: card payments are handled by our secure payment provider. We never see or store your full card number.
- Technical information: like most websites, our hosting provider automatically processes basic technical data (such as IP address and browser type) to deliver and protect the site.
How we use it
- To process, ship and support your orders, and to send order and shipping emails.
- To reply to your messages.
- To send you The Good Energy Edit, our weekly newsletter, if you've subscribed. Every newsletter has a one-click unsubscribe link.
- To keep the site secure and prevent fraud.
We never sell your data
We don't sell, rent or trade your personal information. We only share it with the service providers that help us run the store (website hosting, payment processing, email delivery and shipping carriers), and only as needed to do that job, or when the law requires it.
Cookies and local storage
We use your browser's local storage to remember what's in your cart. We don't use third-party advertising cookies.
How long we keep it
We keep order records as long as needed for accounting, tax and legal purposes. Email list and contact records are kept until you ask us to delete them.
Your choices and rights
You can unsubscribe from the newsletter at any time with the link in every issue, or by emailing us. You can also ask to see, correct or delete the personal information we hold about you by emailing hello@optilick.com. Depending on where you live (for example, California), you may have additional rights, and we'll honor them.
Children
Optilick is not intended for children under 18, and we don't knowingly collect information from them.
Changes to this policy
If we update this policy, we'll post the new version here with a new "last updated" date.
